Bengaluru has become the latest market for Roastery Coffee House, with the Hyderabad-born speciality coffee brand opening its 17th House in Banashankari II Stage. The new outlet also marks the brand’s entry into Karnataka, a key region for its coffee sourcing operations.
Around 99% of Roastery’s coffee is currently sourced from Karnataka, with a significant share coming from the Chikmagalur region. The company sources nearly 100 tonnes of green coffee annually and works directly with more than 15 coffee estates and farmers.
Roastery’s coffee programme features over 80 speciality-grade coffees, including micro-lots and coffees produced through experimental processing methods, reflecting its focus on origin, quality and speciality coffee.
Nishant Sinha, Founder & CEO, Roastery Coffee House, said the Bengaluru opening connects the brand’s retail expansion with its coffee sourcing base. “Roastery was born in Hyderabad, but the coffee that built Roastery was born in Karnataka. For years, coffee from Chikmagalur has travelled to our roastery and then to our Coffee Houses across India. Now, for the first time, we are serving that coffee through a Roastery Coffee House in Karnataka itself. So Bengaluru doesn’t feel like entering another market for us. It feels like our coffee coming home.”
Designed as a contemporary café space, Roastery Coffee House’s new Bengaluru outlet spans around 4,000 sq. ft. and accommodates approximately 80 guests. The interiors draw inspiration from Indian arches and traditional design elements, complemented by Kalamkari-inspired artwork and upholstery in soft pastel tones.
Coffee remains at the heart of the offering, with signature beverages such as Cranberry Coffee and Brownie Blend Cold Coffee alongside cappuccinos and manual brews prepared using speciality-grade Indian coffees. The food menu features sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, pastas and other café favourites.
The brand is also eyeing further growth in Bengaluru, with plans to open around five to seven Coffee Houses across the city over the next one to two years, subject to suitable locations and spaces.
The expansion marks Roastery’s entry into Karnataka’s retail market while bringing its café presence closer to the coffee-growing regions that contribute nearly 99% of its current sourcing.
