GOPIZZA Rebrands as GTGO, Marking Its Evolution From a Pizza Brand Into a Global Korean-Food Platform
The name change marks the company's 5th anniversary and formalises a multi-brand strategy already active in 11 countries, including India.

GOPIZZA has officially rebranded as GTGO, marking its transition from a single-category pizza company into a diversified Korean food and beverage platform. The change arrives as the company marks its 5th anniversary, having grown from a single food truck launched in South Korea in 2016 into an operation spanning 11 countries.

The name GTGO stands for "Good To Go," a nod to the company's readiness for its next phase of global growth. It also reads as "Great Tech, Great Operation" and "Global Team, Global Opportunity," both of which reflect the technology-led operating model behind the company's expansion.

India is central to this shift because of the sharp rise in demand for authentic Korean food in the country, particularly among younger consumers. F&B companies that pair this cultural momentum with genuine local operating infrastructure, rather than simply exporting a single product, are the ones building lasting value in the market. GTGO's rebrand signals exactly that kind of positioning, backed by a decade of operational data gathered across its international markets.

Since entering India five years ago, GTGO has scaled to over 65 stores across three brands: GOPIZZA, Gochujang, and Dalkomi. Gochujang brings Korean street food to Indian consumers, while Dalkomi introduces Korean desserts. Together with GOPIZZA, these three brands form the company's K-Food Platform strategy, positioning GTGO as one of the first integrated K-food operators in the country - pairing authentic Korean flavours with modern QSR-style operations.

Co-founder & CEO of GTGO, Mahesh Reddy said, “This multi-brand approach, tailored to individual markets rather than built around a single global brand, is now central to GTGO's strategy overseas. With a population of 1.4 billion and one of the world's fastest-growing food service sectors, India serves as a key proving ground for this model, one that could shape how GTGO expands into other markets.”

GTGO's expansion is powered by proprietary food tech, including self-developed conveyor ovens and compact kiosk systems refined over a decade of operations across its markets. This infrastructure gives the company an operational edge that would be difficult for new entrants to replicate quickly. Globally, GTGO's pizza solutions are deployed across more than 1,600 stores through partnerships with major retail chains, including GS25 and CGV.

In pizza, GTGO competes directly with established global players like Domino's and Pizza Hut, both of which have a strong foothold in India. By repositioning as a technology-driven F&B company built around Korean food, GTGO changes the category it competes in altogether.

Global CEO & Founder of GTGO Lim Jae-won added, "This is an important milestone in expanding the business beyond what was previously confined to GOPIZZA, and in advancing as a global brand built on food technology. We look forward to continued support as we grow on a wider stage."

GTGO plans to accelerate development of new business models alongside its core food service operations, including in India. The company is also exploring B2B solutions, offering its food tech and kiosk systems to external brands and retail partners.

Founded in South Korea, GTGO operates more than 1,600 stores worldwide, using proprietary food tech to serve fast, high-quality, single-serving pizzas while spreading Korean food culture globally. Beyond its flagship GOPIZZA brand, the company has expanded its portfolio through Gochujang, a Korean street food concept, and Dalkomi, a Korean dessert brand. Together, these three brands form the foundation of GTGO's K-Food Platform strategy, one of the first integrated K-food platforms in India, introducing a restaurant model that combines authentic Korean flavours with modern QSR operations.
