With an aim to bring in MSME’s and large private and public sector units on a common stage, Bangalore the IT hub of India will be hosting the India Manufacturing Show 2010 (IMS 2010), an event based on the manufacturing sector from October 9 to 12, 2010.
The event will be jointly organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati-Karnataka (LUB-K) and K & D Communication Limited with the support of the Union ministry of MSME and the State Government of Karnataka and is approved by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO).
The seminar will take place at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) and it will see participation from the micro, small and medium enterprises; large private and public sector units - More than 150 SMEs and 200 large companies have confirmed their participation in the event which includes entities like the Tata Motors, Toyota, Volvo, TVS, L&T Komatsu, Promac Engineering Industries, Yuken India Ltd, Cades, Axis, Bhushan Steel, Jindal Steel and public sector units like Bharat Earth Movers Ltd, Bharat Electronics Ltd, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, NAL, Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Indian Railways and Keonics.
Chairman of Arcelor Mittal, Mr. Laxmi Mittal along with the Union Minister for heavy industries Vilasrao Deshmukh have been invited to take part in the event.
