The travel company strengthens its retail presence in South-West Bengaluru, taking its city count to 13 outlets

Thomas Cook (India) Limited, India's leading omnichannel travel services company, has launched a new outlet in Raja Rajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar), Bengaluru. With this opening, the company now has 13 outlets across Bengaluru and 18 across Karnataka, further strengthening its retail reach in one of India's most important travel markets.

Located in South-West Bengaluru, RR Nagar has grown into a well-established residential and lifestyle destination, home to affluent and upper-middle-class families, technology professionals and students. Its connectivity to several residential and emerging growth corridors makes it a natural retail hub for a wide catchment.

The new outlet will serve customers from neighbourhoods such as Ideal Homes Township, BEML Layout, BHEL Layout, Kengeri Satellite Town and Gnanabharathi, with its reach extending to Uttarahalli, the Mysore Road corridor, Chandra Layout and southern Vijayanagar. Its closeness to the city's technology and education hubs gives it access to a young, mobile and globally minded customer base.

Catering mainly to families and technology professionals, the outlet will offer international and domestic holidays, group tours, personalised holidays, cruises and travel insurance. Customers can also use Thomas Cook's AI-powered booking platform, which enables personalised vacation planning with real-time availability checks and reservations.

According to Thomas Cook India, Bengaluru travellers are increasingly taking multiple short breaks through the year, using weekends and public holidays for mini-cations rather than waiting for traditional holiday seasons. There is also rising demand for experiential and personalised holidays, along with growing interest in cruises and charter-led journeys. In line with this, the company has launched exclusive charter flights from Bengaluru to Lakshadweep for the year-end holiday season.

Spiritual tourism is also gaining momentum, with popular destinations including Kailash Mansarovar, Char Dham, Kashi, Ujjain and Ayodhya. At the same time, travellers from the city are exploring newer destinations such as Georgia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Kenya, Iceland, Antarctica and the Seychelles. Europe, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Australia and Southeast Asia remain top international choices, while Kashmir-Leh, the Northeast, Rajasthan, Kerala and the Andamans lead domestic demand.

Speaking on the launch, Rajeev Kale, President & Country Head – Holidays, MICE, Visa, Thomas Cook (India) Limited, said, "Bengaluru has consistently been an important travel market for us, with a customer base that is well travelled, globally connected and keen to explore a wide range of destinations and experiences. The launch of our RR Nagar outlet strengthens our presence in South-West Bengaluru and brings our travel expertise closer to customers across this rapidly developing catchment."

He added, "We see an opportunity to engage with a particularly diverse customer base here, from families and technology professionals to younger travellers, across both international and domestic holidays."
