Shambhala Hills has signed a membership agreement with Wyndham Hotels & Resorts to develop Nivara Resort & Spa Udaipur, a Registry Collection Hotel, bringing a new luxury hospitality experience to one of Rajasthan’s most celebrated destinations.
Set beside a historic lake, surrounded by the Aravalli mountains and a biodiversity park, Nivara Resort & Spa Udaipur is envisioned as a destination where refined hospitality meets the natural beauty, culture and heritage of Rajasthan. The resort is expected to appeal to discerning leisure travellers as well as guests seeking a destination for weddings, celebrations, corporate retreats and social events.
Nivara Resort & Spa Udaipur is being designed to offer an immersive resort experience, with a collection of thoughtfully appointed resort rooms and villas, complemented by a range of dining, wellness, recreation and event facilities. Planned facilities include an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurant, bar, swimming pool, spa and wellness facilities, banquet hall, expansive landscaped lawns and modern meeting spaces.
With its combination of accommodation, extensive event spaces and natural surroundings, the resort is also expected to become an attractive venue for destination weddings, celebrations and private gatherings, further strengthening Udaipur’s position as one of India’s leading luxury and wedding destinations.
The property’s location will also provide guests with opportunities to experience the surrounding landscape and biodiversity through a range of curated activities. Anticipated experiences include village horse-riding tours, 4x4 safaris into the biodiversity park, lakeside breakfasts along the promenade, ziplining, visits to the butterfly park, guided forest treks and trails, and birdwatching on the lake.
Together, these experiences are intended to give guests a deeper connection with the destination while offering the comfort and service expected of a contemporary luxury resort.
