The House of Rare has appointed Sorav Arora as Chief Growth Officer, with the executive taking charge of the company’s offline business verticals as it continues to expand its retail presence across India.
Arora joins The House of Rare after five years at Pepe Jeans India Limited, where he most recently served as Vice President – Sales. In the role, he led direct-to-consumer (D2C) verticals across retail, large-format stores (LFS) and e-commerce for India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
Prior to Pepe Jeans, Arora spent six years with Benetton Group, where he rose to Head of Retail – Senior General Manager. His experience at the company included leadership across key accounts and own retail.
He has also held a leadership role at DLF BRANDS, where he was responsible for pan-India retail and sales operations for Sunglass Hut and LensCrafters.
With experience spanning exclusive brand outlets (EBOs), large-format retail, e-commerce, D2C, merchandising, channel development, retail expansion and P&L-led business management, Arora brings extensive multi-format retail experience to his new role.
At The House of Rare, which operates fashion brands Rare Rabbit and Rareism, Arora will focus on driving the company’s offline business as it strengthens and expands its retail footprint across India.
