Arvind Lifestyle Brands Ltd (ALBL), a wholly owned material subsidiary of Arvind Fashions, has increased its stake in Arvind Youth Brands Pvt Ltd (AYBPL), the operator of casualwear brand Flying Machine, to 65.91 per cent from 60.40 per cent following an investment of around ₹50 crore.
The investment was made through the subscription to 1,82,21,574 equity shares of AYBPL, each having a face value of ₹10 and issued at ₹27.44 per share, according to a regulatory filing.
Following the infusion, Arvind Fashions’ direct stake in AYBPL will decline to 34.09 per cent from 39.60 per cent. However, the combined holding of the Arvind Fashions group will remain at 100 per cent, with no change in overall control.
Incorporated on February 27, 2020, AYBPL is engaged in the wholesale and retail of apparel and accessories under the Flying Machine brand in India.
AYBPL reported a turnover of ₹404.75 crore in FY26, down from ₹432.16 crore in FY25 and ₹458.24 crore in FY24.
