Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited Announces Leadership Change; Sooraj Bhat to Lead Ethnic Business and TCNS

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited has announced that Anant Kumar Daga, CEO, TCNS Division, will step down from his role effective April 30, 2026, citing personal reasons. In a related development, Sooraj Bhat, currently serving as CEO – Ethnic Business, will assume additional responsibility for the TCNS Division from May 1, 2026, and will be re-designated as Chief Executive Officer, Ethnic Business and TCNS.

This move brings both portfolios under a unified leadership structure as the company sharpens its focus on strengthening its presence in the ethnic and women’s wear segments. Bhat brings over two decades of experience within the organisation, having joined Madura Garments in 2002 and gone on to lead key businesses including Pantaloons, the Fast Fashion division, and the International Brands portfolio. In 2014, he was recognised by the Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group as an “Exceptional Contributor for Business Success,” reflecting his long-standing contribution to the company’s growth and brand development
