Government of Assam has launched an online application filing system, known as e-Udyog for entrepreneurs and investors in Guwahati. The state Industry Minister Pradyut Bordoloi recently launched the project which is aimed at making functioning of the department faster and hassle free.
The online system will generate accurate economic data, reduce response time of the department and be convenient for the enterprises to file the applications due to certainty of delivery.The e-Udyog programe helps entrepreneurs to avoid delays in getting the official nod.Principal Secretary of Industry and Commerce Department Ravi Kapoor said, this online system will generate accurate economic data and will reduce the response time of the department and also be convenient for the enterprise to file the applications with certainty of delivery.
It is noteworthy that, the objectives of the “e- Udyog” is to create systems easily accessible by an entrepreneur and also streamlining and simplifying the procedures for various applications and subsidy claims under NEIIPP 2007 and Assam Industrial Policy 2008.
