In this dynamic time where the industries of Madhya Pradesh are coming up in a more planned and systematic manner, it is high time for them to cross the boundaries and start thinking on a national and global perspective. It is time for them to more towards the inorganic growth.
With this objective CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) in association with Career Institute of International Management and Career College of Management organized a half day seminar on Private Equity Funding in Bhopal recently.
The eminent speaker for the seminar was Mr. Rahul Tewari, Managing Director, Riverhead Capital, Pune. Tewari started the seminar with some basics and said, “Inorganic growth means a growth in the operations of a business that arises from mergers or takeovers, rather than an increase in the company’s own business activity. It is often seen as a faster way for a company to grow when compared with organic growth.”
“This immediately expands the assets, income and the market presence. This will bring a stronger line of credit because of the combined value of the two businesses. The two businesses will also benefit from the added expertise from personnel of both the businesses”, he added further.
Mr. Manish Rajoria speaking on the private equity funding explained, “In recent years with the innovation of technology and development of a global economy, there has been a tremendous amount of wealth which has been generated. There are a rising number of investors seeking diversification with alternative investments. Private equity market is the most important for one reason: it is the lifeblood of the global economy.”
“Once a market with the few billion dollars, private equity had now become a multi trillion dollar investment arena. And private equity will continue to be one of the biggest markets in the world. With a profit potential far beyond traditional investments and seemingly endless companies in need to funding, it has become a critical solution for investors, liquid companies, and the world economy”.
