Jaarvis Accelerator will provide office space, mentoring, and funding to selected startups.
Jaarvis, a global technology company has announced the pilot launch of Jaarvis Accelerator in their 20,600 sq feet space in Gurgaon, having the capacity to accommodate 40-50 startups.
Jaarvis Accelerator has been inaugurated by Dr Sanjeev Sanghi, Professor, Applied Mechanics Department Member, Board of Governors & MOUD Chair Professor Department of Applied Mechanics, IIT Delhi and Dr. Omkar Rai, Director General, Software Technology Parks of India;Ministry of Communication & Information Technology, Govt. of India in the presence of Gabriel Fong, CEO, Jaarvis Accelerator and Jaspal Sarai, COO, Jaarvis Accelerator.
Jaarvis Accelerator will provide office space, mentoring, and funding to selected startups. Jaarvis Accelerator focus is on innovative technology, Internet of Things, online to offline & Mobile commerce startups with great scalable and global impacting ideas.
So far Jaarvis has adopted 5 startups - Spotwrks, Promon.in, Donna Dialer, EduRev and Scorloc which will be incubated during 4 month program where they will be well groomed and guided by both in-house mentors of Jaarvis and guest mentors. After the completion of the program, these startups would present their vision to investors and venture capitalists for potential funding.
Another 10 startups are likely to be adopted soon. With a capacity to accommodate upto 50 startups, Jaarvis invites applications from innovative technology, Internet of Things, online to offline & Mobile startups to join their Accelerator program.
Announcing the launch to the media, Gabriel Fong, CEO, Jaarvis Accelerator has put an emphasis on his vision about Indian startup ecosystem. He said, “We are all set to invest in Indian start-ups. In India, start-ups are growing much faster than Britain and Israel, which are ranked between India and worldwide leader US at present. Indian Startup Ecosystem is coming of age now and one can expect it to really grow multifold in next 3-4 years.”
Jaspal Sarai, COO, Jaarvis Accelerator, said, “Building a business from scratch isn’t easy but having a successful entrepreneur as a Mentor is quite difficult. The Startups of Jaarvis Accelerator will have daily access to in-house Engineers, Marketing and Business Professionals as well as the mentors needed for a successful rapid deployment.
