India and Vietnam are planning to set up a joint working group to support a two - way trade, joint investment ventures and agricultural production and thereby strengthen commercial ties and encourage co operation between the two countries.
An agreement with regard to enhancement of co operation in the field of agricultural production was signed recently by the two countries.This agreement will allow the SME food processing units in India and Vietnam to exchange their know how about manufacturing practices, better production facilities and processing techniques via collaborations and partnerships.
India and Vietnam said that besides the agri sector they have expressed their intent to extend full co operation in animal feed production.India is making efforts to create a favourable investment climate so as to attract more Vietnamese entrepreneurs to invest in food processing technologies in India.
The greater investments will lead to surge in sales and revenues of Indian SMEs engaged in manufacturing in manufacturing machinery and equipment used in food processing
