IIM-I, MSME, management, imputs, professionalism, problems, students, clinic
Indian Institute of Management-Indore (IIM-I) will provide important management inputs to Indore’s MSMEs. IIM-I students will impart necessary tips on problems faced by the MSME units including the professionalism needed in family businesses.
The students will address issues like finance, manpower, expansion, product development and marketing.
The initiative, which was started last year, have established a consultant clinic at IIM-I where members ask companies to fill forms related to their problems after which a problem statement is generated and distributed to all members of the club. Further, two club members and two other students from concerned field are designated to find solutions to the problems.
Last year, the club had got four projects under a special initiative of Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh and IMA.
