Though the net profit of Dell slipped down by 54 per cent and the revenue declined by 15 per cent; the Dell India sales rose by 17 per cent.
Steve Felice, President, Small and Medium Business, said that India will play an important role after the integration of Dells recent acquisition target, Perot Systems. Dell has acquired Perot Systems for $3.6 billion.
The company said that the markets of India and China are still vibrant. Sales in China went up by 20 per cent.
