Nike will become the official kit partner of Mumbai Indians’ men’s and women’s teams in India from the 2027 season, following a multi-year partnership announced on Thursday.
Under the agreement, Nike will provide match kits, training apparel, sportswear and fan jerseys for both teams. The partnership will also cover coaches and technical staff, extending across match days and training sessions.
The collaboration marks another step in Nike’s continued investment in cricket and its commitment to athletes, fans and the future of sport in India.
Nike has previously partnered with Indian sporting teams, serving as the official kit sponsor of the Indian cricket team for 14 years, from 2006 to 2020. The company has also supplied kits for India’s national football teams.
Beyond on-field apparel, Nike and Mumbai Indians plan to bring sport and culture together through products and storytelling inspired by Mumbai’s identity. The initiative aims to connect the team’s presence in stadiums with its wider appeal among fans across the city.
Players and staff will begin wearing Nike team apparel this month. The Mumbai Indians jerseys for the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Women’s Premier League (WPL) will be unveiled ahead of their respective seasons.
