The new retail concept combines eyewear, design, technology and culture, positioning glasses as an extension of personal style. The store was inaugurated in the presence of Peyush Bansal, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lenskart. Featuring chrome-finished interiors and an experience-led layout, the store offers a distinct shopping environment that moves beyond the conventional eyewear retail format.
Peyush Bansal, Chairman and CEO, Lenskart said: “We believe the future of eyewear will be shaped not just by the products we create, but by how people discover, experience and connect with them. At Lenskart, technology has always been central to reimagining what’s possible in eyewear, and with Lenskart evolv, we are extending that thinking to the retail experience itself. We want to challenge the conventional boundaries of the category, bringing together design, culture and technology to make eyewear a more expressive and immersive experience. As the first expression of a broader vision for concept eyewear retail, Lenskart evolv reflects our belief that there is an opportunity to fundamentally rethink what an eyewear destination can be.”
The retail concept incorporates AI-enabled eye testing, virtual consultations with optometrists and a digital shopping assistant to help customers navigate the collection. Technologies such as Tango Eye have also been integrated to enhance the in-store experience.
Lenskart plans to introduce only a select number of stores under the new concept, making Evolv the first in this limited series of retail outlets.
The Worli launch brought together guests from the fashion, media, creator and entrepreneurial communities. The event featured a live window display showcasing Lenskart eyewear, a humanoid installation, an interactive Polaroid photo booth, personalised eyewear utility cases and other brand-led installations.
Located at Trade View Utopia City on Pandurang Budhkar Marg in Worli, Mumbai, Lenskart Evolv is now open to customers.
