Himalaya Wellness Company has named Vikas Gupta as Chief Executive Officer, India, bringing a seasoned consumer industry executive into a key leadership role as the company seeks to further strengthen its presence in the Indian market.
Gupta brings over 27 years of experience across FMCG, e-commerce, beauty retail and business transformation, having held leadership positions with major consumer and digital businesses in India and international markets.
He spent nearly two decades with Unilever, working across multiple geographies and taking on a range of leadership responsibilities. He later joined Flipkart as Chief Customer and Marketing Officer, where he was responsible for customer growth and brand strategy.
Gupta subsequently moved to Nykaa, serving as CEO of Superstore, Nykaa Pro and International. His role included overseeing the company’s B2B commerce operations and professional beauty business.
Prior to joining Himalaya Wellness, Gupta served as CEO and Managing Director of VLCC, where he led the company's transformation and growth initiatives.
In his new role at Himalaya, Gupta will lead the company’s India business, one of its key markets, drawing on his experience across consumer brands, digital commerce and business transformation.
