A new menswear collaboration between Arvind Limited and fashion designer Ashish N Soni will take centre stage in New Delhi on October 16 as part of Lakmē Fashion Week. The partnership brings together Arvind’s textile expertise and Soni’s design sensibility to present a contemporary menswear collection.
“We are elated to partner with Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI this season and to collaborate with Ashish N Soni on this showcase,” said Arvind Limited’s vice chairman Kulin Lalbhai in a release on Friday. “Ashish has a distinctive ability to translate the character and potential of a fabric into stylish, wearable design. Through this collaboration, we want to demonstrate the versatility of our textiles and the possibilities they offer, from the loom to the runway.”
The collection will be presented at the Taj Palace, bringing together Arvind Limited’s diverse fabric portfolio, spanning cotton, wool, linen, Tencel and bamboo, with Ashish N Soni’s contemporary design aesthetic. Following the runway presentation, select looks will be made available at The Arvind Stores, creating a direct link between the textile, runway and retail experience for consumers, the company said.
