Indian Restaurant Congress 2013, a thought leadership platform on Indian Restaurant Congress was held on August 29-30, 2013. This congress organized by Franchise India is the biggest platform to showcase a product or service in the restaurant, supplier and allied industry. This national event was a grand success with over 300 successful restaurateurs, industry veterans, key suppliers, consultants and food and individuals belonging to the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) category attended the event from India and abroad. The congress also provided an opportunity to explore more than 50 leading franchise concepts with wide ranging investments. The conference informed delegates on all aspects of restaurants business in India such as selecting the right food concept, writing a restaurant business plan, choosing the right location, creating a menu, the food and safety regulations, hiring right people, marketing etc. Indian Restaurant Congress 2013 also facilitated restaurant and food service brands for varied award-categories that have done exceptionally well in their respective business segments in this year.

The Indian Restaurant Congress brought together key representatives from the food service industry, trade bodies and associations, design professionals, product development companies, manufacturers, policy makers, investment groups and other stakeholders from the restaurant supplies and food industry.
