Morocon Minister for Foreign Trade along with other officials called on Indian Minister of MSME.
Cooperation between the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) sectors in India and Morocco would be enormously beneficial for each other, said Moroccan Minister for Foreign Trade in New Delhi on Thursday.
Moroccan Minister for Foreign Trade, Abdellatif Maazouz has expressed his gratitude during his meeting with Virbhadra Singh, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in New Delhi.
He mentioned that there are enormous opportunities in the field of SMEs for mutual benefits of both the countries and expressed his desire to collaborate with Indian MSME sector in view of the tremendous work done by India in this sector.
He briefly gave the background of Moroccan small business sector.
He also showed his keenness to know about the schemes and programmes of Ministry of MSME especially in the area of technology, so that the same can be replicated in Morocco.

The Minister MSME, Virbhadra Singh has also welcomed the visiting dignitaries and assured full co-operation for the development of MSME sector in both countries and further said that MSME is one of the most important sector contributing to Indian economy.
Meanwhile, Secretary (MSME), Uday Kumar Varma explained in detail about the working of the Government as well as State Governments in pursuing MSME policies in the country.
