Gadgetwood eServices Pvt Ltd, a New Delhi based startup in mobile, smartphone and tablets repair and support services space may raise $3 million in Series A round of funding by the end of this year.
"By March this year, we will start looking aggressively for Series A round of funding and we are targetting to raise about $3 million by December this year," said Jayant Jha, Co-founder & CEO, Gadgetwood.
In October last year, the startup raised seed funding of Rs 1 crore from Indian Angel Network. The fund was utilised in strengthening thekir presence in other metro cities.
Founded in the year 2013, Gadgetwood claims to be India's first professionally managed multi brand repair and support services exclusively for mobiles, smartphones and tablets. Strengthened by a team size of more than 40 people, Gadgetwood aims at offering complete customer satisfaction by becoming the most preferred service in its domain.
Jha comes with an expansive experience of around seven years in remote tech support, after sales service, and operational activities among others. In his current role, he is responsible for determining the company's strategic objectives and policies and monitoring progress towards achieving the same.
The company also plans to start a PAN-India service via remote technology and is in the process of innovating services for SMBs and OEMs. "We have designed our service model as per the customers requirement be it an end user or an SMB. We are working with over 25 SMBs and provide them services as per their requirements," said Jha.
When asked about the growth and expansion plans, Jha said, "Growth plan is very clear in our mind, I see Gadgetwood as a pan-India service brand operating in 20 metros and cities. We will start our geographical expansion soon and target the first 5 metro cities in the next fiscal year."
