LG India to foray into the SMB segment

LG Electronics India has plans to foray into the small and medium businesses or SMB segment. The company will invest Rs 200 crore over the next three years in IT business.

LG Electronics India has plans to foray into the small and medium businesses or SMB segment. The company will invest Rs 200 crore over the next three years in IT business.

 

The Managing Director Moon B Shin estimated that the SMB market in India is around $400 million and the company intends to have a market share of 10 per cent by next December.

 

The investment will be made in the product development, R&D, marketing and developing new business avenues for the company. LG’s offering to the SMB units include network monitors, surveillance security & commercial displays, digital signage solutions and other appliances.
