Kenscio Digital set to raise about Rs 30 crore

Bangalore-headquartered Kenscio Digital Marketing is looking to raise about $5 million (about Rs 30 crore), which, if successful, will the first round of institutional funding for the five year-old company, says the PTI report.

 

"We are a profitable company, and we plan to use the proceeds towards our product and business development," Saurav Patnaik, co-founder and chief business officer, Kenscio told ET.

 

The report further stated that a profit projection for 2014-15 is Rs 3.5 crore. 
 

The company, which was co-founded by Patnaik and former Hewlett Packard and Bharat Electronics Limited executive Manjunatha KG, along with two others, is also targeting a top-line of $4 million (Rs 25 crore) for the current financial year. Kenscio offers host of solutions to businesses, such as email marketing solutions and services, social media marketing, media services, real time email personalisation, email list cleansing, multi-channel marketing intelligence and analytics. 



"We are expanding, and we feel this is a very good time to raise our first round, given the positive market sentiments," added Patnaik.
