GSF Accelerator has gone global with the launch of GSF Global Accelerator. Twelve start-ups will be selected for the program, eight from India and the rest through its strategic alliance partners in South East Asia, Eastern Europe and Africa.
GSF, which incubated Bangalore-based Little Eye Labs, has launched a global incubation programme starting April. The technology start-up accelerator provides seed funds to and mentors around 25 start-ups every year, which will now be split into its global and India-focused programmes.
"The objective of this programme is to provide a world-class platform to Indian as well as emerging world technology entrepreneurs, to incubate, develop and establish themselves in global markets," said Rajesh Sawhney, founder of GSF Accelerator and GSF Superangels.
The program will have duration of twelve weeks and will begin in India with Finals in Silicon Valley. The program aims at providing a platform for Indian and emerging world tech entrepreneurs to incubate, develop, and establish themselves in global markets. To manage the application process GSF has partnered with AngelList.
According to the GSF website, the GSF Global Accelerator Program will have four stages. Starting in mid-April in India, the team will spend four weeks with GSF mentors and advisors in Delhi and Bangalore; followed by two weeks in Singapore at ‘The HUB’; then two weeks in a leading digital hub on the east coast of North America and the final four weeks in the Silicon Valley.
