Fashion brand Wrogn is targeting Rs 600 crore in gross merchandise value (GMV) in FY27, after clocking Rs 125 crore in GMV in the first quarter, marking a 40 percent year-on-year increase. The brand is also stepping up its retail expansion while strengthening its direct-to-consumer (D2C) business as it expands its presence across India.
Wrogn’s EBITDA loss narrowed by 34 percent during the quarter, pointing to improved operational efficiency. The brand reported net revenue of Rs 244 crore in FY26, while its adjusted EBITDA loss declined to Rs 38 crore from Rs 54 crore in FY25. Its EBITDA margin also improved by 8.5 percentage points after excluding a one-time non-operational expense.
Owned channels have emerged as a key growth engine for the fashion retailer. Revenue from its D2C platform and exclusive brand outlets rose 120 percent year-on-year, reflecting stronger consumer engagement through brand-owned channels. Wrogn currently operates across more than 250 retail touchpoints through large-format retail partners such as Pantaloons, Shoppers Stop, Fashion Factory and Centro, alongside its marketplace presence.
As part of its expansion plans, Wrogn aims to increase its owned retail network to more than 100 stores by March 2027. The company is also broadening its category portfolio, with Wrogn Active and its footwear business together achieving an annualised revenue run rate of Rs 60 crore.
Backed by TMRW, the digital-first venture of the Aditya Birla Group, and Accel, Wrogn is expanding its footprint in India’s organised fashion retail market through a combination of offline expansion, D2C growth and category diversification.
