Spread across 3,400 sq. ft., the new store has been designed as an immersive LEGO® destination where visitors can do much more than shop. Fans can choose their favourite elements from the Pick a Brick Wall, create their own character at Build a Minifigure, get hands-on at the vertical play table, and explore dedicated play zones for children, alongside an extensive assortment of LEGO® sets, including exclusive sets for enthusiasts and collectors.
The launch was brought to life through a blockbuster-inspired campaign created especially for Hyderabad, drawing on the city’s strong connection with cinema and storytelling. Bringing the idea to life, acclaimed actor and entrepreneur Rana Daggubati, a name closely associated with Hyderabad and its cinema culture, joined representatives from the LEGO Group and Ample Group, along with fans and families, to celebrate the opening of the city’s first LEGO® Certified Store.
The Hyderabad opening marks the latest milestone in the growing partnership between Ample Group and the LEGO Group, as they continue to expand the LEGO® retail experience across India. With a growing network spanning key cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and now Hyderabad, the partnership is bringing immersive physical retail experiences closer to LEGO® fans across the country.
With Hyderabad emerging as an important retail and consumption hub, the new store marks a strategic step in this expansion. It also reflects Ample Group’s approach to building experiential retail destinations that go beyond traditional shopping - creating spaces where consumers can discover, interact, and engage with global brands.
Bhavana Mandon, Country Manager, LEGO India, said Hyderabad’s cultural richness and vibrancy make it a melting pot for creative ideas. Over the years, people and families in the city have grown into a community that actively seeks meaningful experiences to connect and enjoy together, making it a natural home for our new LEGO Certified Store. As we open our eighth store in India with our longstanding partner, the Ample Group, we’re excited to bring fans in Hyderabad closer to the joy of building together.”
Commenting on the launch, Rajesh Narang, Founder & CEO, Ample Group, said, “Our partnership with the LEGO Group may be relatively recent, but the pace of expansion has been remarkable. In a short span, we have expanded the LEGO® retail experience to a new city, with Hyderabad marking another important milestone in this journey. With Ample’s overall retail network spanning the country through partnerships with leading global brands, we remain focused on building strong, experience-led destinations for some of the world’s most loved brands.”
Speaking at the launch, Rana Daggubati said, “It’s exciting to finally have a LEGO Certified Store here in Hyderabad. LEGO sets are something you can enjoy at any age, and I know my family and I are going to have a great time exploring the store together. It’s always nice to see something new and fun come to Hyderabad, and I’m happy to be part of the opening.”
To mark the opening, the Hyderabad store is celebrating with a special launch weekend packed with rewards for LEGO® fans. Customers can unlock gifts with purchase, 2X and 3X loyalty points and mystery boxes on eligible purchases. Customers spending ₹50,000 and above will also be eligible for a lucky draw, with two winners receiving 50,000 loyalty points each. Terms and conditions apply.
