Wendy’s Expands Gujarat Footprint with New Dine-In Restaurants in Ahmedabad and Anand
Announced by Rebel Foods, the master franchise holder for Wendy’s in India, the new outlets are designed to cater to both dine-in and takeaway customers.

Wendy’s has strengthened its presence in Gujarat with the launch of two new dine-in restaurants in Ahmedabad and Anand, marking another step in the brand’s expansion across high-growth markets in India.

Announced by Rebel Foods, the master franchise holder for Wendy’s in India, the new outlets are designed to cater to both dine-in and takeaway customers. Featuring contemporary interiors and a welcoming ambience, the restaurants aim to deliver Wendy’s signature bold, flavour-driven experience while meeting evolving consumer preferences for in-store dining.

With Gujarat emerging as an important market for organised quick-service restaurants, the new launches bring Wendy’s closer to local consumers, offering its globally popular menu and the iconic Frosty dessert. Guests can choose from a wide range of internationally inspired flavours, including Chimichurri from Argentina, Cajun from Louisiana, Korean Buldak, American BBQ, Indian Tandoori, and Mexican Nachoburg—positioning Wendy’s as one of the most diverse gourmet burger brands in the country.

Commenting on the development, Ankush Grover, Co-founder and Global CEO of Rebel Foods, said Gujarat continues to show strong demand for global food brands, supported by a young and aspirational consumer base. He added that the new dine-in formats in Ahmedabad and Anand reflect Wendy’s commitment to growing its presence in the state while adapting to changing dining habits.

Wendy’s expansion strategy in India remains focused on Gen Z and Millennial consumers who value bold flavours, authenticity and globally relevant food experiences. The brand continues to scale through a hybrid model that combines traditional dine-in restaurants with cloud kitchens, powered by Rebel Foods’ technology-led platform.

Since entering India just over five years ago, Wendy’s has grown to more than 200 locations nationwide, building a strong presence across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities and reinforcing its position as one of the fastest-growing international QSR brands in the country.
