Koregaon Park has added another Nando’s outlet, with the global restaurant brand opening its second Casa in Pune at Kopa Mall. The launch follows its first Pune location at Phoenix Marketcity and takes the brand’s restaurant network in India to another location.
The new Casa follows Nando’s signature format, built around flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken. The chicken is marinated for 24 hours before being grilled to order, with diners able to choose from a range of spice levels, from Mild to Extra Hot.
“Pune has emerged as a strong and exciting market for us, and the launch of our second Casa reflects the encouraging response we have received from diners in the city,” said Sameer Bhasin, CEO, Nando’s India. “This opening strengthens our presence in the city and brings the signature Nando’s experience – bold PERi-PERi flavours, customisable heat levels, and our distinctive flame-grilled offering – to an even wider audience.”
Since its launch in Johannesburg in 1987, Nando’s has expanded into a global restaurant brand with more than 1,250 locations across 23 countries. Its menu is centred on PERi-PERi, made with African Bird’s Eye Chilli, lemon, garlic and a blend of spices.
The brand said its marinades, bastings and sauces are prepared using fresh ingredients and do not contain artificial flavours or colourants. The latest Casa at Kopa Mall strengthens Nando’s presence in Pune while adding to its international network of more than 1,250 restaurants across 23 countries.
