BuyBuyCart, a leading supermarket franchise, has crossed the 250-store mark across India, achieving a major milestone in its expansion as a modern retail network.
Established in 2021, the company introduced India’s first supermarket franchise model with zero franchise fees and zero royalties. The move was aimed at enabling small and mid-sized entrepreneurs to step into organized grocery retail at a time when traditional businesses were facing significant operational and financial challenges.

BuyBuyCart follows a B2B2C model, allowing franchise partners to launch branded supermarket stores in just 15 days. The company offers end-to-end support, including store setup, branding, inventory supply, billing software, marketing, and operations.
A major driver of growth has been BuyBuyCart’s private-label portfolio, which spans grocery staples, snacks, household cleaning products, and religious items. The company notes that these private labels help franchise partners boost margins while fostering customer loyalty in local markets.
Looking ahead, BuyBuyCart plans to expand to over 1,000 outlets by 2027, broaden its private-label offerings, launch a mobile app, and explore growth opportunities in the Gulf and South Asian markets.
