Worbus to launch $ 500 million SME Fund:

Worbus International, an M&A consulting and investment banking firm, based out of USA, intends to invest an amount of $ 500 million in the small and medium enterprises segment in India as it plans expansion. Mr. Thomas Mathew, director at Worbus said that all formalities have been done and they expect to launch the fund by April, 2010

Worbus has been focusing on Joint ventures, M & A and private equity funding deals in the Indian SME sector. It has earlier been engaged in many deals in India and has facilitated Joint Ventures between Indian and American companies.
