Professional edition to address the requirements of the SME market in India. The solution is easy to implement and also cost effective, keeping in mind the requirements of the targeted segment.
The Accpac ERP Professional edition, which is available for Rs 1 lakh has the features of the newly launched version 5.6 and also includes advanced reporting. The features of Sage Accpac Intelligence facilitate designing of reports from various data sources; report scheduling, report consolidation, import & export of reports and OLAP Cubes.
Mr. Thomas Abraham, Managing Director, Sage India, stated, “There is a huge market in India of companies who have outgrown a basic accounting package and are seeking to implement an ERP. This segment is looking for an easy to use, fully featured ERP that can be implemented easily and is also cost effective. By introducing the Professional edition at Rs 1 lakh, we believe the ‘sweet spot’ of SME decision making has been achieved. Sage Accpac has been localised to Indian tax requirements and comes with a built-in module for TDS.”
