On-demand services start-up Mr. Homecare ties up with UBER

Mr. Homecare customers who are new UBER users will get their first UBER ride up to Rs. 300 for free.

Mr. Homecare, a platform for users to book professional on-demand services such as deep cleaning, pest control, car care, AC maintenance, plumbing, etc has forged a partnership with Uber, , the smartphone app that connects riders with drivers for on-demand transportation.

The association will benefit Mr. Homecare and Uber customers.

Any Uber consumer, on showing his Uber receipt and promo code to Mr. Homecare will get a 15 per cent discount on Mr. Homecare services. 

Mr. Homecare customers who are new UBER users will get their first UBER ride up to Rs. 300 for free.

Speaking about the partnership, Sahil Vora, Co-Founder, Mr. Homecare said, “It's been about three months since we launched our services and we have received very positive responses from consumers, which for us is great validation of the idea. Our partnership with UBER aims to give the best of both on-demand services, and we look forward to more such associations."

“Lately, on-demand services are extensively used by consumers. They want to make most of every possible service that is available for them, be it on demand cabs, housekeeping, baby-sitting, or even having plumbers, electricians, carpenters on call!” said the company’s official press release.

Over the last few years, start-ups were working towards bringing convenient services to the consumer. One such start-up is Mr. Homecare. Promoted by the Vora brothers, Rushabh and Sahil, Mr. Homecare began operations in February 2015. Their experience with their facility management business, SILA, which has over 1500 employees and manages over 5 million sq ft of Real Estate, has helped them start operations in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore within few months.

It’s parent company, SILA, is in the facilities management space, managing over 5 million square feet of commercial real estate, including the lounges of the New International Airport, Adlabs Imagica, other five star hotel and commercial properties.
