PepperTap, a mobile hyperlocal grocery delivery service in India, has launched its mobile application on iOS platform. Followed by its success on Android, PepperTap now expands its user base with this move.
With this launch, PepperTap facilitates iOS based smartphone users to shop from its range of 5000 unique products including grocery and staples, fruits and vegetables and household goods with the promise of delivery within 2 hours or at customer's preferred time slots.
"PepperTap is the on-demand grocery delivery service in India that provides convenience, on-time and on-demand delivery to its patrons, along with superlative services and hand-picked products," as per the press statement.
The company is based out of Gurgaon, Haryana, and kick started its operations in November 2014. The company's business model is unique to India and similar to Instacart in the US. PepperTap has already raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from a US based bluechip VC fund and is in talks to close its series A round of funding from some of the largest VCs in India.
