Ministry of MSME promotes mini-municipality concept

The ministry of MSME is promoting the concept of mini-municipality. The ministry is doing this in order to help maintain industrial estates' infrastructure in good shape.

In an interaction with entrepreneurs in Mangalore, Dinesh Rai, secretary of the ministry said that a public-private partnership model could be worked out. He also added that the estate could be declared as a mini-municipality if the associations could generate funds for its upkeep.
