Market Xcel, one of India’s leading market research firms has unveiled a new research tool service called Xcel-Omnibus. It is primarily designed for marketing professionals, communications professionals, advertising agencies and Public Relations firms. This is for the first time that such a cost effective market research tool will be available in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. R Vishal Oberoi, CEO, Market Xcel said, “Xcel-Omnibus is a rapid, multi-client, shared resource and hence is the most cost-effective and time efficient tool designed for marketers.”

 “Omnibus Surveys are more suitable for measuring and tracking public opinion, attitudes and behaviour, general brand evaluation, establishing market share and incidence and measuring advertising awareness. Omnibus research is great for asking simple questions that allow people to choose from a list of possible answers. But it can also handle more complex questions style like attitude statements and advertising evaluation,” he further added, while explaining the new service further. 

It is expected that the newly launched service by Market Xcel will be a boon for them as the company plans to conduct a total of 1,200 face-to-face interviews each week, across 12 cities (100 each), balanced to match the census/IRS data by age, gender and SEC. This will be a national representative as quotas are set for key demographics such as age, gender, region and SEC. Xcel-Omnibus  would be the most cost effective and reliable survey program for clients seeking answers for up to seven to eight questions plus one open ended question.
