Vasundhara Raje, Chief Minister of Rajasthan yesterday asked the officials of Education Department to form school advisory boards in every district for the development and creation of facilities in schools. As per the release, Minister recommend that a dedicated fund could be created to finance the developmental works with the sanction of boards. She also told officials to fill posts of principals and teachers in 10,000 schools across the state which will be constructed as model schools.
CM was briefed about the promotions and status of recruitment of teachers in the department by Nareshpal Gangwar, Secondary Education Secretary. The presentations were also given by officers on the progress in works which were announced in the state budget this year.
In another review meeting of Public Works Department, Raje asked officials to make sure that the quality of roads being constructed in the state is not below standard and warned of action if the quality is not upto the mark. She said the buildings of model schools should also have good construction quality otherwise the buildings would not be inaugurated.
