The Northern Region Deputy Chairman and NIIT CEO Vijay Thadani said that this effort will bring about a better utilisation of local talent and workforce. It will also raise the level of local industries.
UP is the first port of call for CII as it accounts for one-sixth of India’s population and has a major share in the country’s GDP. The initiative will be spread to other states also.
Besides promoting entrepreneurship, CII is expected to work on other crucial issues such as provide education, generate employment opportunities and foster inclusive growth to ensure comprehensive development in UP as well as other Indian states.
