4 Engineering, IT students develop new cloud based education platform

Itsmycollege.com, a free and safe cloud based education and networking platform launched today. While India is gaining International recognition for its educational system, it is still far behind many, many countries.

At least that’s what four Engineering and IT students, Eswar Naidu, Pavan Teja, Rama Krishna and Sam Jackson felt when it came to counselling and trends. With the internet and social media, learning has to be more collaborative and college choices need to be more transparent. Thanks to their unique insight, Itsmycollege.com that today launched in India and is ready to change the lives of students forever.

A first of its kind platform in India

Itsmycollege.com addresses the gaps in the area of education counselling by offering a platform for students to share information, keep in touch with alumni and interact with professors from all over the world. Built with technologies like Aws, Java, Springs, Hibernate and MySql, the site offers a cloud based social learning and alumni networking platform for colleges by connecting students, alumni and professors.

The team

The founding team consists of Eswar Naidu, Pavan Teja, Rama Krishna and Sam Jackson.

Eswar Naidu, the CEO and Co-Founder of the company, is a graduate in Mechanical engineering and currently pursuing MBA in marketing and finance. He is experienced in IT and digital marketing, and had developed 42 websites for local business.

A graduate in information technology, Pavan Teja (CTO and Co-Founder) takes care of all technology aspects of the platform. He is proficient in more than 15 programming languages and had developed 3 SMS based applications for txtweb.com, which were used by more than 300,000 unique students, with 280,000 hits per day. Impressive, isn’t it?

Rama Krishna, the electronics and communication engineering graduate is the software developer and Co-Founder of the company. This avid reader and movie lover worked at tech giant Accenture for 4 years as a software engineer.

Known for never compromising at work, Sam Jackson (COO and Co-Founder) had worked as a faculty before.

The passionate four while talking about the goal of their venture said, “Itsmycollege.com aims to improve the quality of education by allowing students and faculty of all the colleges to access subject experts in their subject of interest with ease, as well as also strives to increase the employability of the students via proper career counseling. We are changing the way college students are experiencing education,” they added.
