Wellness – In 2019 278,000 children aged between 4-17 years old experienced some sort of anxiety. Practising meditation, yoga and mindfulness increases focus, improves self-control, coping strategies and significantly improves self-esteem. The COVID-19 pandemic has also affected children’s mental health with Kids Help Line reporting a 24% increase in calls* specific to mental health and wellbeing since the pandemic began. It has never been more important to look after our childrens’ overall wellbeing.
