The foundation of Gopal Namkeen was laid in 1994 by Shri Bipinbhai Vitthalbhai Hadvani, a visionary entrepreneur with a passion for delivering traditional Indian snacks rooted in quality and authenticity. What began as a small-scale initiative supplying namkeen and snacks to the local markets of Rajkot, gradually evolved into a reputable and admired name within Gujarat's food industry.
The first turning point came with the establishment of our own product line at Raj Nagar Society, Rajkot, which marked a significant step toward building a brand grounded in self-reliant manufacturing. Encouraged by the enthusiastic market response and the continued trust of our consumers, we expanded operations by setting up a Gruh Udyog plant in Amar Nagar, Rajkot, during the early 2000s. This step empowered us to scale our production and explore a wider range of snacks while maintaining the taste and quality that had become synonymous with our name.
In pursuit of technological advancement and enhanced product consistency, we inaugurated a semi-automatic plant at Vajadi (Vad) before the end of the decade. This also marked a transformative phase for the company as it rebranded itself as Gopal Snacks Pvt. Ltd., embodying a more ambitious and structured corporate identity.
A Technological Leap Towards Excellence
December 2009 was a landmark moment in our history. We commissioned one of Gujarat’s largest fully-automatic snack manufacturing plants at Metoda GIDC, Rajkot. The facility initially spanned 75,000 sq. ft., but in response to growing demand and to accommodate a diverse product portfolio, it has since expanded to over 200,000 sq. ft., built on an impressive 20,000 sq. meters of land.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technology and adhering to stringent hygiene standards, this advanced facility is the heart of our operations—ensuring consistent quality, optimized efficiency, and the ability to innovate across our product lines.
