Raising the education bar

Seth M R Jaipuria Schools has over 19,500 students studying at their 25 K-12 schools and four management institutes pan-India. The brand is keen to add 10 more K-12 schools by 2020.

Raising the education bar

Committed to providing quality education to children across India, the Jaipuria Group has been in this sector for the past 27 years, establishing a series of K-12 schools and higher education institutions of national repute. Now, they have over 19,500 students studying at 25 K-12 schools and four management institutes pan-India, with five more in the pipeline being readied for launch in 2019. All these schools are in collaboration with edupreneurs, with bulk of the growth derived from Tier II and III cities. As Shreevats Jaipuria, Vice Chairman, Seth M R Jaipuria Schools, puts it, “We wanted to do something unique to build capacities of teachers and to redefine academics as a whole. We also wanted to make sure that every child has access to high quality education irrespective of him or her being in a metro or a small town.”

BUSINESS MODEL

THE VISION

“Our vision is to make quality private education available to students across towns and cities in India. For far too long, quality institutions have been concentrated only in metropolitan cities and a few state capitals. This must change. Whenever we start a new educational institution, our focus is on how we can give a differentiated learning experience to the student. We strongly believe that education has to be learner-centric and participative. Our focus is on research, benchmarking best practices worldwide, and learning from our functioning 25 schools as well.”
