An Italian casual dining and coffee house, That Italian Place & Cafe Banchetta has always wanted to be a brand that offers the right mix of items on the menu with the highest quality in terms of taste and value for money. Carefully choosing the ingredients and the raw materials is what goes into the making of the finest Italian foods and helps it to be different from the rest. “Our journey has been an exciting one, right from selecting a business modeland concept to working on the connection between the choices of offerings and customer experience at the restaurant. The interiors have been carefully designed to provide an Italian ambience and the taste of our cuisine is such that it gives customers a memorable experience,” informs Clifford Dsouza, Co-founder, That Italian Place & Cafe Banchetta.

It’s the combination of Italian food and a coffee shop that gives this place its uniqueness and exclusivity. “We also reach out to people through advertisements, social media, etc., which helps build up visibility. Our delivery and tie-ups are given importance to ensure our brand recall remains at its highest. The SOP and the various operating standards and processes have been worked upon and documented for every outlet to follow them with ease,” the spokesperson says.

FRANCHISE OVERVIEW

Now giving a serious thought to franchising, the brand plans to open about five franchise units and add another two company-owned outlets to its tally in the coming year. The plan is to create a successful brand with about 25-40 outlets in the next five years. “Beginning with Mumbai we plan to explore other cities in Maharashtra in the second year. We will focus on working with master franchises in selected cities – those who have the relevant knowledge of their city and the potential it has,” adds Dsouza.
