When did the need for mini TRS arise and how did you tap into the opportunity?

In this VUCA world we have leveraged the local knowledge & expertise of entrepreneurial franchisees with a growth mind-set.The mini TRSrepresents brand Raymond in these new emerging towns and act as beacons of modern retail for these markets.

With the speed that mini TRS are coming up, what is the USP of these stores?

These stores replicate the legacy of The Raymond Shop in emerging towns with an Agilemodel wherein stores are set up within 45 days from signing of the Franchise Agreement instead of regular 90 days. This is possible through a new age modular design with high flexibility for change (from store sizes of 600sq.ft. to 1200sq.ft.), designed to cater to existing shop dimension is a major USP. The business model is asset-lite with a sustainable &healthy ROI. The required investment in the Mini TRS is 1/3rd of that a regular TRS which provides necessary fuel to make the business highly profitable.

What is the secret mantra behind the relentless passion in coming up withover 50 stores in such a brief time span?

An important essence for success has been associating with like-minded franchisees who have brought alive the immersive Raymond experience in these emerging markets through their market knowledge, hands on operations and adherence to the business framework.

From 1st Mini TRS in Bihta, Bihar to 53rd Mini TRS in Unnano, Uttar Pradesh.The team continues to set new milestones in the Fashion & Lifestyle Retail category.

How do you aim to live up to the rallying thought of ‘Har Shahar Mein Raymond’?

Being the leader in the Men’s fashion category with presence over 400 cities and 600 franchisees our approach is to bring Raymond's presence across all emerging towns (Class 4 & 5) in markets. For potential town expansion, we strongly believe on leveraging strong channel partnership, along with ourworld class product, stringent quality parameters and customer centric-focus as the growth drivers for Har Shahar Mein Raymond.

What potential do you see in these Mini TRS with tier IV and V cities?

Continuing our Retail expansion in Class 4 & 5 markets with the Asset-lite and Agile retail format – Mini TRS, we plan to cover another 300 of these high potential towns in the next 2 years. Our business model is rooted in our Entrepreneurial franchise model that is proven and has evolved successfully over the years.
