Zigly Pet Care has expanded its veterinary healthcare network with the acquisition of Prolife Speciality Vet Clinic in Malad, Mumbai, managed by Dr S. M. Gadge. The deal marks Zigly’s third strategic acquisition as it continues to scale its veterinary care network and build a broader pet care offering in India. The clinic is expected to become operational 24x7 over the next nine to 12 months.
Established in 2000, Prolife Speciality Vet Clinic has treated nearly 20,000 pets and reported an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of ₹4.36 crore. Its services include outpatient consultations, diagnostics, surgery, endoscopy, pathology and pharmacy.
The clinic will continue operating with its existing team of veterinarians, centre manager and support staff to ensure continuity of care for existing pet parents.

The Mumbai acquisition adds to Zigly Pet Care’s veterinary presence in the city and expands access to specialised pet healthcare. It follows the company’s earlier acquisitions of Small Animal Clinic & Surgical Centre in Khar West and Dr Santa’s Pet Clinic, as Zigly continues to grow through partnerships with established veterinary practices.
By integrating neighbourhood clinics into its network, Zigly is expanding its pool of experienced veterinary professionals and specialised clinical expertise while improving access to consultations, diagnostics and treatment. The wider network is also intended to support pets requiring regular or specialised care.
With pet ownership in India rising and demand growing for accessible and specialised veterinary services, Zigly is pursuing a mix of greenfield expansion and strategic acquisitions. The company said the approach will help strengthen veterinary infrastructure, support experienced clinicians and expand access to pet healthcare across the country.
