Zigly is stepping up its omnichannel expansion strategy as it targets a significant increase in its pet care network, aiming to grow from 46 centres across 19 cities to nearly 60–65 centres by the end of FY27. The company is building an integrated pet care ecosystem that combines veterinary services, diagnostics, grooming, retail, and digital healthcare to address the evolving needs of pet parents across India.
Currently, Zigly operates in key markets including Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and several cities across Punjab. The company is adding an average of two new centres every month and plans to deepen its presence in existing markets while selectively entering new ones. It is also exploring collaborations with veterinary clinics, hospitals, and practitioners following two strategic transactions completed last year.
Digital commerce has become an important growth driver for Zigly, contributing nearly 22–25 percent of its overall revenue through its website, online marketplaces, and quick commerce platforms. Its retail outlets also serve as fulfilment hubs, enabling faster deliveries and supporting repeat purchases across its network. To further strengthen its digital ecosystem, the company is expanding teleconsultation and Vet-at-Home services.
According to the company, rising awareness around preventive pet healthcare, professional grooming, premium nutrition, and transparency in pet care services is driving demand across India. While metropolitan cities remain key markets, Tier II locations such as Jaipur, Lucknow, Indore, and several cities in Punjab are witnessing strong growth in pet ownership and spending.
Although dry pet food continues to account for the largest share of Zigly's business, the company has recorded faster growth in wet food, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle accessories. To diversify its portfolio, it has introduced four private-label brands covering pet food, grooming products, cat care, and lifestyle accessories.
Beyond commercial growth, the Zigly Foundation has partnered with the Government of Delhi and municipal authorities to vaccinate and microchip more than 5,000 street dogs. The company has also launched Zigly Cares, a dedicated pet food range designed for stray animals.
As part of its FY27 roadmap, Zigly aims to double its business by leveraging retail expansion, digital healthcare services, private-label offerings, strategic partnerships, and a robust omnichannel model, reinforcing its position in India's rapidly growing pet care market.
