SEIKO, the renowned Japanese watch brand celebrated for its precision, innovation and craftsmanship, announces the opening of its new standalone watch salon expanding its footprint in East India.

 Spanning 1,020 sq. ft., the new store marks another step in SEIKO’s continued retail expansion in India, bringing its 145-year watchmaking heritage and diverse portfolio closer to collectors and watch enthusiasts in the city. The launch was celebrated in the presence of acclaimed actress Raima Sen, who joined SEIKO as the guest of honour in marking the opening of its new Kolkata home.

Located in the heart of Kolkata, the salon brings together SEIKO’s key global collections under one roof, including King Seiko, Prospex, Presage, Astron and Seiko 5 Sports. The space offers an extensive selection of the brand’s latest creations, alongside timepieces that showcase SEIKO’s expertise across mechanical watchmaking, precision technology, sports performance and contemporary design.

Among the highlights are the King Seiko VANAC and 145th Anniversary Limited Edition, the Presage Craftsmanship collection and the latest Presage Cocktail Time creations. The Astron GPS Solar range showcases SEIKO’s advanced timekeeping technology, while the Prospex Speedtimer and 1968 Heritage Diver’s GMT represent the brand’s expertise in high-performance sports watches. The salon also features the latest limited-edition Seiko 5 Sports × Honda MOTOCOMPO, paying tribute to one of Honda’s most cherished icons.

A key highlight is the Prospex India Limited Edition, created exclusively for the Indian market and inspired by the distinctive colour and texture of the Indian tiger. Limited to 1,000 pieces, the timepiece reflects SEIKO’s approach to combining its watchmaking heritage with narratives rooted in India.
