Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Odysse Electric Vehicles has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the HyFy, a new low-speed electric scooter priced at ₹42,000 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Targeted at city commuters, students, and last-mile delivery riders, the HyFy promises a cost-effective and practical urban mobility solution.
The scooter is equipped with a 250W motor and is available in 48V and 60V battery configurations. It has a top speed of 25 km/h, which means it does not require a driving license. Depending on the battery variant, the HyFy offers a claimed range of 70 to 90 km per charge, with a charging time of 4 to 8 hours.
HyFy comes loaded with smart features such as City Drive Mode, Parking Mode, Reverse Mode, Cruise Control, and a Digital LED Display. With a kerb weight of 88 kg and a loading capacity of up to 150 kg, the scooter is well-suited for navigating through dense city traffic.
For better ride quality, the scooter features telescopic suspension at the front and spring-loaded suspension at the rear. Safety is ensured with a front disc brake and a rear drum brake, while the 3-10 tubeless tyres enhance grip and durability.
The HyFy will be available in five stylish color options – Royal Matte Blue, Ceramic Silver, Aurora Matte Black, Flare Red, and Jade Green. Sales will begin on May 10, 2025, through Odysse’s dealership network of over 150 outlets as well as online platforms. Early buyers will receive special discounts and warranty benefits.
Founded in 2020, Odysse Electric offers a wide range of electric two-wheelers, including both high-speed and low-speed models. Its current lineup includes popular products like the EVOQIS, SNAP, HAWK Li, and the delivery-focused TROT 2.0.
