
JSW MG Motor India has received an overwhelming response for its newly launched electric SUV, the MG Windsor PRO. The company announced that the vehicle secured over 8,000 bookings within just 24 hours of its launch.
The MG Windsor PRO is priced at ₹18,09,800 (ex-showroom). Additionally, the company is offering it under a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, where the base price of the vehicle is ₹13.09 lakh, and users are charged ₹4.5 per kilometer for battery usage.
Launched in a single variant, named Essence PRO, the Windsor PRO features a 52.9 kWh battery pack, delivering a certified driving range of 449 kilometers. The electric SUV is powered by a motor that generates 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque.
In terms of safety, the car is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include 12 functionalities and a three-level alert system. The Windsor PRO also offers modern features like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging, along with a powered tailgate.The SUV is now available in three new colors – Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red.

JSW MG Motor India was established in 2023 as a joint venture between SAIC Motor and JSW Group, with a vision to promote sustainable, localized manufacturing and make advanced automotive technology more accessible in India.
