
JBM Electric Vehicles (JBM EV), a subsidiary of the $3 billion JBM Group, has officially entered the European market with the launch of its ECOLIFE electric city bus at the UITP Global Public Transport Summit 2025 in Hamburg, Germany. The unveiling was led by Nishant Arya, Vice Chairman of the JBM Group. JBM EV has also established its European headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany to manage regional operations.
The ECOLIFE electric bus is equipped with advanced technologies including a driving range of up to 400 kilometers, ultra-fast charging, lightweight stainless steel body, regenerative braking system, and advanced telematics. The bus is specifically designed for urban public transport and features eco-friendly interiors made from recycled materials.
As part of its European expansion strategy, JBM EV has partnered with German leasing company KazenMaier to facilitate the delivery of over 100 electric buses across Germany. The company is offering a complete electric mobility solution that integrates electric buses, charging infrastructure, and financing options. JBM also introduced its E-Verse Ecosystem, featuring in-house battery technology, fast charging solutions, and a dedicated service network.
Globally, JBM EV has deployed or is in the process of deploying over 11,000 electric buses and has covered more than 165 million electric kilometers, serving over 1 billion passengers to date. The company aims to reach 3 billion kilometers and 10 billion passengers in the coming years. These initiatives align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals focused on climate action and sustainable urban transport.
