Founded in Jaipur, The House of Amrapali is internationally recognised for preserving India’s jewellery heritage by reinterpreting historical designs through meticulous craftsmanship.

Bait Elowal, led by Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi, has unveiled an exclusive presentation and sale of Tribe Amrapali, bringing the contemporary jewellery line from Jaipur’s renowned House of Amrapali to the Heart of Sharjah. The collaboration marks a significant milestone for Soghat Elowal, Bait Elowal’s retail platform, as it deepens its focus on craft-led, culturally rooted experiences.

Founded in Jaipur, The House of Amrapali is internationally recognised for preserving India’s jewellery heritage by reinterpreting historical designs through meticulous craftsmanship. Tribe Amrapali, launched in 2013, represents the brand’s modern expression—celebrating silver, tribal aesthetics, and age-old techniques through a contemporary, wearable lens. The collection bridges tradition and modernity, reimagining ancestral forms while remaining rooted in artisanal authenticity.

Her Highness Sheikha Bodour Al Qasimi described Bait Elowal as a living cultural space where heritage is experienced rather than displayed. She noted that hosting Tribe Amrapali reflects a shared belief that craftsmanship carries memory, meaning, and human connection, and that meaningful cultural exchange must be grounded in storytelling and respect.

Under the leadership of Tarang Arora, CEO and Creative Director of Amrapali Jewels, Tribe Amrapali has grown into a globally recognised name, known for its collaborations with museums and fashion institutions, as well as its commitment to artisan empowerment, fair wages, and skill preservation. Its debut in Sharjah signals a strategic and cultural expansion into the Middle East, a region with deep-rooted appreciation for silver as both ornament and heritage.

Arora described the Sharjah showcase as a “cultural homecoming,” highlighting the shared values between Indian and Middle Eastern craft traditions. He said the collaboration represents more than market expansion, positioning it instead as a dialogue between cultures that share a deep respect for the artisan’s hand and the legacy of handmade design.

The partnership aligns with Bait Elowal’s curatorial vision, shaped by journeys along historic trade routes such as the Silk Road. Through Soghat Elowal, the platform introduces limited-edition collections and narrative-driven encounters that connect audiences in the UAE with exceptional global craftsmanship.

Visitors to Bait Elowal can explore Tribe Amrapali’s distinctive silver jewellery, tribal motifs, and intricate hand-painted enamel work. Each piece reflects the living legacy preserved by the Amrapali Museum in Jaipur and carried forward by generations of master artisans, offering collectors a rare opportunity to engage directly with India’s evolving jewellery heritage.
